Promising Review: Ok, I’ve only used my new Luna for oily skin for one day and I’m already noticing fantastic results! I first used it in the morning and it was a wonderful refresher, made my skin feel luminous and bouncy, and left me oil free ALL day even with makeup on and working in a restaurant! Then I washed my make up off at the end of the day, did a quick rinse and applied a little more cleanser before using the Luna again. This time around I could visibly see dirt, make up and oils being pulled out of my pores! My nose/t-zone tends to have slightly dark and large pores that only seem to get clear using nose/face strips, but I don’t like to use them every day and they still leave stuff behind.
THIS has visibly reduced the size of my pores and effectively cleaned them out...in just one day! For reference, I have oily skin mostly in my t-zone and lately I have been prone to breakouts. I switched to an oil free skin care routine from Glo Beauty and just introduced Luna into my routine. Promising Review: I'll be honest, I knew nothing about the science of positive ions or negative ions or ultrasonic technology in skin care. I recieved this gadget and felt a little intimidated by it. I started playing around with it and wasn't sure it was doing anything but vibrating. I used the Nutri + setting several times and noticed after applying my evening serum and using the device I felt it really penetrated my skin. I was very surprised that my skin felt deeply hydrated when I woke in the morning, something that never happens! This device really makes your skin like a sponge fulling absorbing your serum. I haven't tried it with a cream yet, I ordered a water based retinol cream and will be trying that next. After getting used to the Nutri + setting I played with the Cleaning setting which uses negative Ions to pull dirt from your skin to the metal head. This one really floored me! I saturated a cotton round with Aloe liquid and used the Ultrasonic, then Clean - setting with the massage function. I could feel a slight tingling sensation and a bit of a sting as I went over my nose. The cotton round had dirt on it that I thought my cleanser got to.
